Carolina Smoke Catering Terms & Conditions

Prices

All prices quoted are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated

Payment is required once the order has been confirmed, and prior to the date of delivery. We accept payment by most credit cards, including Mastercard and Visa (1.6% credit card surcharges apply for tapping/ over the phone credit card payments will incur a 2.2% surcharge ). Our bank account details are located on each invoice for payment by direct transfer.

All quotes are subject to availability at the time of booking and a 50% deposit is required to secure the order. No order is considered confirmed until the deposit has been received. The balance will be invoiced upon confirmation 5 working days prior to the required date and full payment of the order is required prior to the event date or on the day of delivery.

Confirmation of Details

Orders and dietary requirements for functions are to be confirmed no less than 7 days prior to the required date.

Full Payment is required prior to or on the day of delivery via Bank transfer, credit, or debit card payment or in cash on the day.

Dietary Requirements

Carolina Smoke prepares all food in accordance with the Food Standards set by Food Standards Australia.

Carolina Smokes kitchen and equipment used within may contain traces of nuts, egg, dairy, gluten, and other know allergens. Although all care is taken by Carolina Smoke to ensure these items are contained, we cannot guarantee that all dietary requirements will be met. Whilst we understand the serious implications of reactions to allergens and will endeavor not to cross-contaminate your food, Carolina Smoke will not accept responsibility or liability for an adverse reaction to any of our food by any guest. Please inform any of your guests who have serious food allergies.

Cancellations

Bookings that are cancelled within 7 days’ notice from the agreed delivery date will forfeit 100% of the deposit used to make the initial booking.  Bookings that are cancelled within 8-14 days’ notice from the agreed delivery date will forfeit 50% of the deposit used to make the initial Bookings that are cancelled within 15-30 days’ notice from the agreed delivery date will forfeit of 25% of the deposit used to make the initial booking.

Cancelations with more than 31 days’ notice from the date of the booking will be refunded the entirety of the booking deposit.

Postponement 

Parties that would like to postpone their initial booking date to a later date must do so no later than 14 days of the initial booking date. Any postponement date must be within 12 months of the original booking date. 

Events quoted in advanced

For bookings taking place more than 6 months in advance a 10% surcharge may be added on top of the original quote due to rising meat/food prices in Australia.

Public Holidays 

Carolina Smoke has a surcharge of 30% on the entire order for all bookings on public holidays. 

Marketing disclaimer 

With the permission of the organiser of the event, Carolina Smoke will take the opportunity to use any event as a potential photo and marketing opportunity for our social media pages and future business. This will in no way impede our ability to deliver our service to you the client.

Rubbish disposal 

Carolina smoke is not responsible for the disposal of any rubbish other than our own.

Force Majeure 

Any delay or failure to deliver service from Carolina Smoke shall be excused in the event if and to the extent caused by Force Majeure. For this contract Force Majeure will mean a cause or event that is not foreseeable in the future such as flooding, fire, extreme weather, explosions, riots accidents, government acts or lock downs, power failures or labor force strikes
